About Petie
I provide warm, compassionate therapy to people going through life transitions or periods of difficulty.
Background & Experience
I grew up in a small, down to earth community in Montana. I graduated from a private liberal arts college in Maine, and spent the next 10+ years in consulting, earning an MBA, and working on a vast range of issues nationally and globally. After starting my own family, I made the move to mental health - a long time area of interest.
My primary clinical training took place at Seattle’s Swedish Center for Perinatal Bonding and Support, a partial hospitalization program that supports birthing parents experiencing acute postpartum mood and anxiety disorders. Here, I worked with a team of therapists and psychiatrists to provide group and individual therapy to patients.
I began my private practice in 2025 and continue to grow my skills. Recent training includes:
Frank Anderson’s Internal Family Systems (IFS) Trauma Treatment Program: A 4-month intensive
Somatic Trauma Therapy Certification with Dr. Abi Blakeslee: A 4-month intensive
Acceptance & Commitment Therapy (ACT) Proficiency Course
Perinatal Mood Disorders: Components of Care: Postpartum Support International (PSI)
Perinatal Mental Health Advanced Psychotherapy Training: Postpartum Support International (PSI)
